Solutions Consulting Group Named San Diego's 35th Fastest Growing Privately Held Company
SAN DIEGO, CALIF. – SEPTEMBER 26, 2007 – Solutions Consulting Group (SCG), a leading information technology services integrator providing Microsoft Dynamics CRM and GP enterprise solutions, today announced it was named one of the 100 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies by the San Diego Business Journal. This is SCG’s second time credited with a ranking and is listed at number 35 with an average growth rate of 110% and average revenue of $3.76 million for years 2004 – 2006.
The San Diego Business Journal publishes the list each year to honor the Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies in San Diego. Companies are chosen based on documented growth both in revenue and in employee size. This year’s compilation of winners represented an average growth rate of 766%. The companies generated over $4.6 billion in revenues and employ 8,466 employees who make-up the San Diego workforce.
In a letter published in the September 24, 2007 edition of the Fastest 100, Armon Mills, President and Publisher of the San Diego business Journal, stated “These winners represent the best and brightest when it comes to reflecting the tenacity our business men and women.”
William Edmett, CEO and Co-Founder of SCG, accepted the prestigious award on behalf of the entire SCG team during a reception held at the Marriott Hotel on September 21, 2007. “It’s such a great feeling to be sitting in an audience amongst such amazing talent waiting to hear the name of your company and its corresponding ranking”, Edmett said “it’s hard for young companies to grow in an ever changing market. For us to make the list is validation that we are doing it right, something I’m really proud of”.
