SAN DIEGO - July 20, 2004 - Solutions Consulting Group (SCG) today announced the addition of five information technology (IT) specialists to its staff and the opening of a second office in Irvine, California to serve its growing client base in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. The new hires and additional office space at One Park Plaza, Suite 600, in Irvine, are a direct result of increased demand for SCG's custom application development services and integration of Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) using SCG's proprietary project management methodology and broad experience to ensure Risk-free IT for its clients. "With our client base growing significantly in Orange County and L.A. over the past couple of years, it became clear that we needed an office further north in addition to San Diego," said Bill Edmett, Jr., partner, practice management at SCG. "The three women and two men recently hired are experts in application development, integration and business intelligence. Combine this new talent with our current highly skilled staff, some that have been with us since we opened our doors, and you have a virtual dream team for custom application development and MBS integration." Ted Barton joined SCG as a business intelligence, data modeling and SQL (Structured Query Language) database expert. Barton will focus his expertise on SCG's food service clients, developing custom applications and solutions to create efficiencies and increase profit margins for SCG's restaurant clients. Len Komar is highly skilled at SQL database development and data warehouse Business Intelligence (BI). Komar is currently working with SCG's newest food service client, and recently completed an extensive data warehouse re-architecture project at Disneyland Resort. His expertise in complex Data Transfer Service (DTS) packages for data transfer within complex point-of-sale (POS) systems will be utilized for numerous SCG client projects. Caroline McElligott is a senior Great PlainsĘ implementation expert with multiple Microsoft certifications. She is an accomplished accountant and finance expert, with experience in multi-national projects - most notably for organizations along the United States/Mexico border. Her experience with International IT projects is already in play as she leads project implementations for some of SCG's key clients. Marisol Mortera moved from New York to become SCG's newest Great Plains professional. Mortera has an excellent MBS track record, including a position at Microsoft Great Plains in Singapore as its lead technical services representative. Mortera is currently working with SCG's American Red Cross client and other key customers. Liz Stokes joined SCG with eight years of development experience. Stokes brings extensive experience in Great Plains integration, database design and integration, programming, database connectivity, report generator tools and API tools. Her broad knowledge in programming and database driven tools will greatly assist a variety of SCG clients across multiple industries. SCG now employs 30 people between its San Diego and Irvine offices, and strives to create an environment that fosters creative problem solving, solid processes, and a stellar work product for its clients.
