Matthew Austin Appointed Sales Director of Enterprise Services at Solutions Consulting Group (SCG)

SAN DIEGO - July 18, 2005 - Solutions Consulting Group (SCG), an award-winning Microsoft Gold Certified partner, today announced that it has hired Matthew Austin as director of sales for its Enterprise Services. Austin is a new addition to the sales and marketing team within SCG and will be focused on arranging consulting engagements for the Business Intelligence, Application Integration, and .NET Development practice areas for SCG.

Austin is a senior IT manager with more than 15 years of experience in the sale and implementation of data warehousing, XML data integration information systems, Web collaboration, document management, enterprise resource planning, and customer resource management systems. Austin has worked on a variety of IT projects with brand name clients such as Microsoft, Callaway Golf, Sempra Energy, U.S. Navy, Los Angeles County, Cisco Systems, EMC, Ebay, Ingram Micro, Oracle, Charles Schwab, GTE, PepsiCo, GE Capital, Freddie Mac, and NFLPA.

Immediately before joining SCG, Austin worked for Capita Technologies in Irvine, California, as a consulting practice manager. At Capita he developed a state and local eGovernment practice, initiated a reseller relationship with IBM, and established a Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance practice.

Austin has considerable skills in business relationship management. At InterKnowlogy, LLC, in Carlsbad, California, Austin was business development manager and marketed Microsoft's server product suite. Austin also worked at KPMG Consulting in Costa Mesa, California, where he managed project teams of up to 30 people to sell and implement data warehousing, e-commerce, and customer value management consulting services. In the late 1990's Austin worked at Qualcomm in San Diego where he was a project manager tasked with implementing data warehousing across all Qualcomm business units.

Austin graduated form George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Decision Sciences.
