ISMS selects Solutions Consulting Group (SCG) for major financial system upgrade and Y2K resolution
San Diego, CA, April 28, 1999 - Solutions Consulting Group (SCG) announced today that they have been selected by Integrated Specialists Management Services, Inc. (ISMS) to implement the Great Plains Dynamics C/S+ Accounting System, the leading graphical accounting solution in the industry, which will fully automate ISMSí highly specialized financial processes.
ISMS is the provider of total management services to fully integrated medical groups throughout the nation. These services include strategic planning, contracting, financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, benefits, legal compliance, credentialling, quality assurance and risk management. ISMSí current accounting system is based on a UNIX platform and is highly customized, but not Y2K ready. This system was developed for one particular medical group prior to the formation of ISMS, and therefore does not optimally handle the various methodologies used by the multiple medical groups now managed by ISMS. Therefore, ISMS is taking full advantage of meeting its Y2K requirements by taking its clients into the millennium with the most effective, state of the art accounting systems that are currently available.

The Great Plains Modifier, MicrosoftÆ Visual Basic for Applications, along with the Great Plains Continuum allows the enterprise-wide business management system, Dynamics C/S+, to be highly customized with relatively little difficulty. Using the Windows DNA Architecture, MicrosoftÆ SQL Server 7.0, MicrosoftÆ Transaction Server, and MicrosoftÆ Visual Basic 6.0 makes adding the needed functionality seamless.
Solutions Consulting Group is implementing the following Great Plains Dynamics C/S+ modules: General Ledger with FRX Advanced reporting, Fixed Asset Management, Accounts Payable Management with bank reconciliation, Payroll Direct Deposit, and Human Resources with Integrated Payroll.
The scalability of this business management solution along with its Y2K compliancy, will allow ISMS to fully automate their unique and complex financial processes within the accounts payable, pension and payroll modules of their accounting system: thus, streamlining the way they do business.
