San Diego, CA, Monday, 2/9/04 - Solutions Consulting Group (SCG) a Microsoft Partner firm located in San Diego and Irvine, California, was highlighted as a Best Practice example during Microsoftís Southern California Launch for SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services. SCG was featured for the successful delivery of their Reporting Portal Solution for a major west-coast restaurant chain. SCGís project, along with other customer success stories, was highlighted at all three Microsoft launch events in Santa Monica, San Diego, and Irvine. SCGís solution illustrates how Reporting Services is helping companies reduce TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) while enabling increased management information insight. With either approach, companies still had to find room in their IT budget to make all of the technologies work correctly. For this reason Microsoftís Reporting Services will penetrate and expand this market. Reporting Services, working with DTS and Analysis Services, completes the vision for a true Microsoft BI solution.
