Principal Once you've attained several years of project delivery experience, project management and fiscal project responsibility, you should be ready for this position, where you will take on increased ownership in a variety of projects and practice areas. Here, responsibility grows to multiple projects with teams of as many people, and project budgets can be very large. Estimating and participating in project lifecycles management continues in this role. Project Manager Leveraging your many years of successful project delivery and exposure to project management, this position now moves you into larger projects with significant budgets. In addition to managing teams of many people, you will be responsible for the managing process, facilitating meetings, producing deliverables that document business requirements and software design, be responsible for estimating projects and continue to participate in entire project lifecycles. Senior Consultant With four or more years of software engineering experience and applications development and expertise managing teams of up to five members, you are now qualified to move into this position where you will enhance your qualifications and skills through larger teams and more responsibility. Responsibilities involved are: defining technical architecture frameworks, leading development efforts, delivering requirements and design deliverables, and taking ownership of complex deployments. Consultant With two to four years of project delivery experience in a corporate environment and a solid knowledge of key Microsoft development tools, you can join SCG as a Consultant. Working in specialized teams on diverse projects, you will acquire the necessary tools to build your career. This position will give you a broad knowledge of the work done at SCG while giving you the skill sets necessary to enter the next level of responsibility. |
